INSTYTUTUM’s skincare products are formulated with the highest-quality and most-effective ingredients, combining the best science and nature has to offer.  Since results are our #1 priority, all our products undergo extensive third-party clinical studies and testing for scientifically-proven efficacy. 

Amongst many other active ingredients, we use a variety of AHA’s such as glycolic, salicylic and lactic acid, enzymes, retinol, peptides, vitamins A, C, E and B12 as well as hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and patented stem cells in high concentrations well-known for their outstanding proven efficacy.

Patented stem cells are obtained through the process of extracting the cell wall from plants and fruits. The extraction procedure is a worldwide-patented unique method (WO2007104489), that provides a mixture of peptides and sugars, by using only a fraction of the cells and developing the most active part. Plant stem cells are an excellent source of active compounds as these cells have remarkable benefits for the skin. In our laboratories, we use a pharmacological approach where all the active fractions are enriched thanks to specific internal procedures. This provides us with highly concentrated, pure and patented active ingredients, scientifically tested through a platform of over 80 tests performed on all skin cells (fibroblast, keracinocytes, mesenchimal stem cells, macrophage) and a portfolio of more than 15 actives, many of them worldwide patented for their unparalleled, high efficacy.

Our active ingredients are not solely used for marketing purposes, but for efficacy. We therefore use the recommended concentration level at the right percentage, which is proven through in vivo and in vitro testing by the developer of the raw material.

No, we do not directly conduct any testing of our products on animals or advocate animal testing. We also endeavor to work with partners who share our values.

INSTYTUTUM products are formulated without parabens, sulfates, mineral oils, synthetic dyes or SLES/SLS.

We currently do not carry any products with SPF. Nevertheless, we are strong advocates of protecting your skin against UVA and UVB rays, and infrared and indoor lighting (fluorescent and halogen bulbs) since they can break down collagen and have an aging effect on the skin.
